Lorene "Marie" veach was born on September 27, 1927 at Spavinaw, Oklahoma to William Newby and Millie Henson Newby. She left this life on December 24, 2018.

She is survived by her husband, Virgil "Frank" Veach; 2 sons, Clarence and wife Kim, and Randy and wife Karen; daughter, Anne Tackett and husband Harold; 2 step-daughters, Frances Hammock and Alice Mathies; 13 grandchildren, Scott Barker, Brent Barker, Kevin Blain Barker, Richard crosson, Jason Tackett, Nicholas Tackett, Curtis Tackett, Nathan Tackett, Amy Reilly, Carey Barker, Dawn Garside, Michelle Hammock, and Mark Mathies; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Marie was an accomplished seamstress and would make clothing by custom orders. She loved birds and had several bird feeders in her yard. She also loved her flowers and gardening. The picture on the front of the funeral folder that was given to you today is a tribute to those two things that she loved so well. Marie loved spending time with friends and family. She adored all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her great- grandchildren called her "G.G." and that always put a smile on her face.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
