Lola Loretta Broadstreet, 68, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, April 2nd, 2020.
Loretta was born in Rotan, Texas, on November 11th, 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Broadstreet; parents, Sabra Inez Wood and Morris Otis Guthery; brother, Morris Robert "Sonny" Guthery; sister, Shirley Edna Ross; brother-in-law, Tim Ross; and brother-in-law, Bobby Wright. She leaves behind her sister, Myrna Inez Wright; brother, Joe Guthery; son, Waylon Ballard and wife Rebecca of Sand Springs, OK; daughter, Terry Trammel and husband J.T. of Winnsboro, TX; son, Robert Broadstreet and wife Dede of Justin, TX; grandchildren: Brandi and Amanda Hampton, and Bailey, Brooke and Briar Broadstreet; and great-grandchildren: Thomas, Natalie and Zoey.
Loretta loved the Lord. Her strongest desire in life was to see her family come to know and serve Him. She lived out her faith through selfless service to family and others, always generously giving of her time and energy. She especially loved working with children and teaching them about Jesus.
Loretta loved her family dearly and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. She was a blessing to everyone in her life and was a joy to be around. She was a very loving, happy, sweet person who found joy in everything and helped others find it as well.
Loretta loved being outside and visiting with people. She never met a stranger - everyone was a friend or would soon be one. She loved to travel and one of her favorite activities was people watching.
Loretta was a proud Texan and loved everything Texas, but she also loved her adopted hometown of Tulsa.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be scheduled after the pandemic restrictions are lifted.
