Obituary

Louis Wesley Hinshaw 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa on September 20, 2014 from injuries received when his home was invaded on September 11, 2014.
Louis was born May 26, 1936 in Turrell, Arkansas, to Richard C. and Irene Smith Hinshaw. The fifth of eight children and the fourth boy. He attended Sloan Hendrix Academy in Imboden, Arkansas and then entered the United States Air Force where he served for four years.
Louis was an inventor with many inventions some still waiting to be completed. Because of his versatility he held many jobs after leaving the Air Force. Including but not limited to these: Oil Field worker, big rig driver, college professor, and community organizer.
He is survived by one son, Michael, of Tulsa; one sister, Dale (Robert) McMasters of Bay, Arkansas; one brother, John (Carol) Hinshaw of Imboden, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette (Ruder) Hinshaw , his parents, his sister, Laura (James) Gilpin; brothers Charles Edward, Robert, Dick, Donald and Milton.
