Lucile L. Shubert, 86, died on January 25, 2016. Lucile was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 13, 1929 to Harold and Vivian Lucia. She graduated from Steinmetz High School in Chicago. Lucile was married to Robert G. "Bob" Shubert on November 13, 1954. In 1960 they adopted their only child and Lucile became a homemaker. They relocated on several occasions due to Bob's job and ended up in Tulsa in 1966. In 1975 they relocated to OKC where they later retired. Lucile loved to travel. She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint and shopping, especially for her grandchildren. Lucile and her husband downsized and moved back to Tulsa to be close to their daughter and family in 2002.

Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother.

Lucile is survived by her daughter: Linda Peterson and husband, Rusty; 2 Grandchildren: Ryan and Lauren Peterson; Great-Grandchild: Dusty Minor.

Visitation will be 6pm-7pm on Sunday, January, 31 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st St. (918-663-2233). Memorial Service will be 11:00am, Monday, February 1st at Inverness Village, 3800 W. 71st St., Tulsa.
