Lucille Ellene Davis, 94, of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. She was born September 11, 1926, in Kiowa County, KS, to Terry Bruce and Olivia Emma Crowe. Lucille was a cosmetologist and attended Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the "Yet To Be" church group.
Lucille - also known as "Aunt Lucy" - was the best aunt, sister, and friend anyone could ever want to have. She was always quick with a smile and a laugh, and loved to just have fun. She was a great caregiver, taking care of the ones she loved selflessly and with whatever they needed. She was also a good listener. You always felt like you could sit down and talk to her about anything.
She was faithful to her God and loyal to her friends. She was so proud of all her nieces and great-nieces and nephews.
Her family always looked forward to her visits and visiting her. There was always a lot of joy and laughter in those visits. Everyone loved Aunt Lucy, and she loved everyone back.
Words cannot express the depths of sorrow in losing her. It is a great loss to many and she will be missed and thought of often.
Lucille is survived by her five nieces: Brenda Vague and husband Ron, Rhonda Morris and husband John, Melinda Maes, Leanda Weaver and husband Mark, Cynthia Frisbie and husband Mike; many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Carlyn L. "Doc" Ott and Ted Davis; two sisters, Velma June Sanders and Shirley Ann Schenk.
