Ella Lucille "GG" Harrison, of Bixby, OK passed away on October 15, 2017. She was 91 years old.

GG is survived by 2 children, Violet Russell and Viola Key of Bixby OK; her son-in-law Bob Ball of Collinsville; her 4 grandchildren, Michelle Peterson and husband Johnny of Owasso, Shannon Helt and husband Lem of Bella Vista Arkansas, James Russell Jr. and wife Tressa of Broken Arrow and Brian Key of Bixby; her 5 great-grandchildren; Heather, Will, Britnee, Trevor and Iris; her 5 great-great-grandchildren; Ella, Audrey, Artemis, Alaina and Lana. She is preceded in death by her husband, Garland Harrison, her daughter, Carolyn Ball, and son-in-law James Russell Sr.

GG was born on August 19, 1926 in Bluejacket, OK to Oscar and Clara Smith. She was one of 11 children. She married Garland Harrison in 1946, and the pair moved to Tulsa, OK. The couple welcomed three children into their home. She is remembered as a woman who loved her family. She wanted to know where everyone was at all times.

GG worked for Tulsa Public Schools for 26 years. At age 70, she began working at Sunshine preschool, where she worked for 15 years.

The family would like to thank the staff at Franciscan Villa for taking such good care of GG for the past year.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 12-8. Family will be there in the evening. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday October 20, 2017 both visitation and service will be at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st, Tulsa, OK. Graveside services to directly follow at Floral Haven. Brother Phil Platner will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate GG's life.
