Farrar, LuEllen Kay, 71, died Thursday, April 16, 2015, Tulsa, Oklahoma. LuEllen was born September 16, 1943 to Eugene Marvin & Eatho May (Luna) Ousley, in Dora, Missouri. After high school LuEllen attended Harding College in Searcy, Arkansas, and was a Home Economics major.
She was our loving wife, mother, grandmother. She was a wonderful homemaker, seamstress and cook. LuEllen served the church as a church secretary and in many other capacities. She loved children and spent time as a Sunday school teacher and childcare provider.
She married Lucian Farrar, Jr., September 2, 1962 in West Plains, Missouri.
LuEllen is survived by her children and their spouses: Monte Farrar, his wife Toni, Michael Farrar and his wife, JoAnne, Melisa Jones, her husband Norman, & Mark Farrar and his wife, Tara; two sisters: LaDonna Faye Elmore, West Plains, Missouri and Cheryl Jean Magee, and husband, Dennis, Attleboro, Massachusetts; Grandchildren: Michelle Walton, Casey Farrar, Cherie Smith, Olivia Alston, Amanda Clouse, & Lillie Jones.; Great grand-children: Danae Alston, Aria Lynn Smith & Abby Walton.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015 with services at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, located at 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, OK 74145. Please contact the funeral home at (918) 663-2233 with any questions.
