Obituary
Lyla White, 64, retired seamstress, of Tulsa, OK passed away May 16, 2025. Lyla was born June 6, 1960, in Muskogee, OK to Lyle C. Askew and Mary Youngwolfe.
Lyla attended Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church in Haskell, OK. Lyla worked for 19 years at Fabricut and had an amazing work family. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, drawing, caring for her children/grandchildren and being the "Best Mom".
She is survived by three daughters; Kasey Starkey, Jessica Malan and husband Scott, Crysta Humphrey all of Tulsa, OK, son; Joseph Starkey of Tulsa, OK, brother; Eddie Brittenham of Washington, sister; Sierra Tate of Webbers Falls, OK, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and God daughter, Savannah Barclow and husband Ronnie.
Lyla was preceded in death by Parents; husband William "Bill" White, brother, Michael Brittenham and great grandson, Tylan Starkey.
