Lynn Edwin Davis, age 72, passed away July 8, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born May 28, 1945 in McAlester, OK to the late Julius Dwight Davis and Katherine Josephine Cathey. Lynn was a retired Staff Sergeant for the United States Army and a Millright for the Ford Glass Plant. He was a longtime member of Eastland Baptist Church.

Lynn was predeceased in death by his parents, Julius and Josephine Davis; sister, Carolyn Sue Davis and brother, Dwight Davis. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Joyce Davis; sons, Lee Davis of Tulsa; Jeffrey and his wife, Amelia of Newalla, OK; grandchildren, Jameson Davis, Elizabeth Davis, Emily Davis, Malachi Davis and Jack Davis; sisters, Barbara Duvall and Fleta Sorrels; brothers, Kenneth Davis, Cecil Davis, Benny Davis and Dale Davis;

Viewing will be Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, OK and the Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of McAlester, 100 E. Washington Ave, McAlester, OK. Interment following with military honors in Memory Gardens, McAlester, OK.
