Beeson, Lynne Noel Butts

Lynne Noel Butts Beeson of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024 at the age of 63. She grew up in Chandler, Oklahoma but has made Tulsa her home for over 30 years. Lynne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Lynne was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin (Joan) Butts, her nephew Jayce Sheffield, and her Uncle John Goodwin.

Lynne is survived by her beloved husband of over 30 years, Tony, her three girls: Sarah Beeson, Anne (Johnathan) Cates, Abbey Owens, and her four grandchildren: Lily, Sutton, Henry, and Collins. Her parents, Bob and Jackie Patterson, siblings: Ben (Jeanie) Butts, Anne (Manny) Sanchez, Paige (Jack) Sherry, Trent (Danielle) Patterson, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other extended family members, and numerous friends she thought of as family.

Lynne loved spending time at her favorite place, Grand Lake, and traveling all over the world. She had a lifelong love of reading and putting together puzzles and hobbies she passed down to her daughters. A proud grandmother, Lynne always went above and beyond to attend every special event, every birthday, and to spend time with them whenever possible. Lynne had an impressive and accomplished career in IT Project Management spanning multiple companies. An avid University of Oklahoma fan, she enjoyed attending football games and rooting for the Sooners.

Lynne was intelligent, generous, loving, funny, and welcoming to so many. She enjoyed a full life, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Lynne's family wishes to express our gratitude to all who have shared sweet memories, offered support, and stood with us in this time of grief. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The family will be hosting a private Celebration of Life event.
