Marcus Bennett "Ben" McCool, 77, of Tulsa, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016. He was born August 28, 1939 in Shidler, OK to Marcus Bennett and Evelyn McCool. Ben was a retired master patrolman for the Tulsa Police Department. He was a member of Sandusky Ave. Christian Church and a former member of Blue Knights Motorcycle Club. Ben is survived by his wife of 49 years and 11 months, Sally McCool; his children, Jim McCool of Tulsa; Bonnie Coulter and her husband David of Benton, KS; his grandchildren, Taylor McCool, Jarret Coulter, Lane Coulter and Brody Coulter and Ben's sister Bonnie Whigham and her husband Cliff of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Pat Shreck. Memorial contributions may be made to "Tulsa Police Memorial" tpdmemorial.com or "St. Francis Hospice".
