Madeline was born in 1931, in Hale Center Texas to Odas and Della (Lee) Hudson. She was their only child.

In 1947, she fell in love with and married Wesley Orin Martin. They were happily married for 41 years. During this time, they brought five wonderful bundles of joy into the world, Wesley Durand, Eldon Paul, Cherlouise Madeline, Rhonda Gay, and Nathan Jesse Martin.

Over the years their joy expanded to include: 13 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren, and 21 great great grandchildren. Madeline was proud of her family!

And as if that wasn't blessing enough, her family included, 14 ministers.

Madeline's heart felt desire, was to please her Lord in everything she did. She loved talking and singing about Jesus. It was very seldom, that she didn't have a song of praise to share with those around her. In her closing days here on earth, she would to her caregivers of the love of Jesus, and His amazing grace.

She did this faithfully until her last days among us.

She left us on August 25th, 2021, for her Heavenly reward. She was 90 years of age!

She's gone but the effect she had upon our lives, lives on!
