Maerene Hawkins, 83, passed away Sunday, January 28th, 2018 in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was born to Wayne and Dovie Irene (Hunt) Venable on November 3rd, 1934 in Barber, Arkansas.

Maerene was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Mary; brother: Plese Venable; and grandson: Bryan Plaster.

She is survived by her husband, Harlon Hawkins; daughters: Sandy Plaster and husband Mike and Kay Brasel and husband Eddie; grandsons: Matt Brasel and wife Carrie, Mark Plaster and wife Jenni and Chad Plaster and wife Chelsey; great grandchildren: Jonathan Plaster, Brooke Brasel, Brantley Brasel and soon to be Benjamin Plaster.

Visitation: 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, Oklahoma with graveside service following at Hillside Cemetery in Skiatook, Oklahoma at 12:00 p.m.
