Mamie Christine Barnett, 74, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Friday, August 5, 1977, at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, OK. She was born on Friday, April 17, 1903, in Huntington, IN, to Dallas Hower and Clara (Weber) Hower. Mamie married Thomas Elmer Barnett, in 1925. She moved to Oklahoma in 1908. She grew up in Sapulpa and came to Tulsa in 1923. She was credit manager for Stanley Home Products in Tulsa for 25 years. Mamie is survived by her son, Mr. T. E. Barnett and wife of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; sister, Mrs. W. J. (Mable) Overton; niece, Mrs. Ramonia Smith; another niece and nephew that live in Tulsa, OK; and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; and parents. Mamie will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
