Mary Margaret Hicks, or just Margaret as she would be known throughout her life, was born on November 10, 1928 to Ted and Elsie Cunningham in Ninnekah, OK on a farm claimed in the Oklahoma land run by her Grandfather. Little did this country girl from a small town imagine that she would grow up, marry, raise four wonderful sons and seven grandchildren, travel the world and see and do things that most of us only dream about.
On Saturday, November 15, 2014, at 5:30PM, Mary Margaret Hicks went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She is preceded in death by her parents Ted and Elsie Cunningham, her husbands Hershel Spears and Tracy Hicks, her brother Ralph Cunningham and sister Alene Wright. She is survived by a brother, Howard Cunningham, her four sons Dwain Spears, David Spears, Donald Spears and Darrell Hicks, seven grandchildren, Tracy Foster, Angela Spears, David Spears Jr, Christy Martin, Brent Parker, James Hicks and Carson Hicks along with great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Visitation 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Moore's Southlawn.
