Margaret Ann Locke Hill Obituary
Margaret Ann Locke Hill, 89, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born in Lockesburg, Arkansas to James and Corinne Locke.
Margaret graduated from DeQueen High School, Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas, and obtained a Master's degree at Oklahoma State University in Education. Margaret also had several add on degrees from various colleges.
Margaret married the love of her life, Olin F. Hill on May 30, 1964 and made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she taught Middle School and High School business classes for 28 years.
Margaret was a long time member of First Baptist Church and worked with the Caring Center Ministry for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed leading a book club. Margaret loved working crossword puzzles, making scrapbooks, playing board and card games, and traveling.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Olin. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Locke and brother-in-law, Jim Taylor. She is survived by her sister Betty Joyce Locke Taylor of Sterlington, Louisiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who held a very special place in her heart.
