Margaret Joan Lindsey was born on March 18th, 1933 in Clacton-On-Sea in England. She left this earth on May 26th, 2021 at 5:45pm. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes Montgomery-Wells and William Harold Wells, her husband Elliston B. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Kelly and Garry Wayne Kelly (husband) and her daughter-in-law Rhonda Jacobs with John. Margaret also leaves behind her grandchildren Amanda and Thomas Oare, Erin Hartzell with Charley Lane, and Regan and Kim Geisinger, and Mason Lindsey. Her great-grandchildren are Ethan, Caden, McCartney, Colin, Ellery, James, and Benjamin.
As a child, Margaret spent many days playing in the sea close to her home. After she finished high school she moved to London to pursue a career in modeling where she met her husband Elliston B. Lindsey (Al). After the birth of their first child, Michelle, Margaret and Al moved back to the United Stated to Houston where she gave birth to their second child, Mark. They finally settled down in Tulsa. Margaret still owns the home where she raised her family.
At a young age Margaret developed a love for gardening. She enjoyed spending her days digging in the dirt, pruning, weeding, and watering her garden. She was proud of her accomplishment of becoming a certified Master Gardener. Even her career as an office manager for FTD/Floral Fax revolved around her love of plants. After she was no longer able to spend time in her own garden, family members made sure to surround her with fresh flowers on a regular basis.
