Margaret Helen Nelson, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday Monday, February 4th, 2, 2019. Margaret was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 3rd, 1938 to Alonzo Augustus Haynes and Margaret Agnes Haynes (Derrick). Margaret (or Margie as she was known by everyone) was one of six children. Throughout her life, Margie impacted many people including friends, family, and those she came in contact with daily. You could find her spending her days tending to the garden, crocheting, browsing the clothing racks at Goodwill, going to church every Sunday, eating Sunday lunch at Charlie's Chicken, and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a passion for being kind and loving but she always gave you her honest opinion. If you needed help, Margie would always be right there. If you were to ask friends and family to describe Margie you would hear them say that she was "loving", "sweet", "caring", and "beautiful in many ways". She loved making memories with those around her but she preferred to be behind the camera. Margie was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Norman Nelson, her son Jeff Bumgarner, and many of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Darlene Green, Tulsa, OK, her two sons Barry Bumgarner, Oakhurst, OK, and Anthony Bumgarner, Tulsa, OK, her seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Margie is loved and will be missed by so many.
