Obituary

Margaret J. Slagle left this earth on October 26, 2021, and now walks with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Margaret was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on August 21, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Mildred Chapin Schneider, and one brother, Billie Joe Schneider.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Mariners Sunday school class and was active in the United Methodist Women's organization. She was a member of Chapter FE of the PEO.

Margaret enjoyed playing tennis, traveling, and playing bridge with her lifelong friends.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Dan M. Slagle; daughter, Crista Lynn Grimes; son, Cory A. Slagle, and his wife, Kristi; three grandchildren, Shannon Slagle and her husband Jose (Pepe) Chavez, Toni Slagle, and Noah Grimes; and two great-grandchildren, Diego Chavez Slagle and Lucas Chavez Slagle.

Margaret has three nephews, Kelly, Stan, and Brant Schneider of Tulsa, and 11 cousins: Edward Chapin, Bonnie Webb, Joyce Hamann, Harry Chapin, Morrison Cox, Sandra Cox Halbert, Susan Diane Cox Rusmisel, Cecil Cox, Cathy Grammer, Nina Eccles, and Rowena Mills.

Viewing will be 2:00P.M. to 8:00P.M., Thursday, October 28, 2021 with family receiving friends from 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral Service will be 1:00P.M., Monday November 1, 2021 at Asbury United Methodist Church- Mason Chapel, 6767 South Mingo Road.
