Maria G. Flores, 82, born on July 7, 1940 to Jacinto and Petra (Hernandez) Garcia in Martindale, Texas, passed away Friday, January 6th, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Maria was an adored mother, sister and friend. She retired from Bama Pie after 20 years. We are at Peace with her passing as we cherish the moments and life lessons we learned from her. We know Maria lived a good life. She enjoyed her time with family, traveling, her love of music and old movies and of course her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Familia and her Faith have always been her center of Love and Focus. We proudly carry on that tradition, knowing that we will see each other again one day. We love you.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacinto and Petra and her sister, Maria Reyes Rodrigues.

Maria is survived by her children: Christine Hughart and husband Billy, Jose Flores and wife Tina, Dorothy Gomez and John Dick Flores; grandchildren: Kasey Hughart, Serjio Gomez, Tabatha Gonzalez, Heather Tiger, Erika Hughart, Billy Jr. Hughart, Marisa Gomez, Ricky Flores and Fernando Botello; great grandchildren: Scarlette Gonzalez, Cruz Gomez and Isabella Tiger; brothers: Jose Garcia, David Garcia, Miguel Garcia, George Garcia, Roy Garcia and Ruben Garcia; sisters: Antonia Chagoya, Ezperanza Botello, Catalina Gonzalez and Alicia Gonzalez.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12th at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, Oklahoma 74120.
Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12th at Moore's Memory Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 13th at St. Thomas More Parish 2720 South 129th East Ave., Tulsa, OK 74134 with interment following at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
