Marialice Bordenkircher Worden was born on November 23, 1928 in Jennings, OK. She passed away on September 14th at the ago of 90. She is the daughter of her father, Francis Bernadine Bordenkircher and her mother Zoe Todd Bordenkircher. Those preceding her in death are both of her parents, her brother J.R. Bordenkircher, and her husband Harry Austin Worden, Jr.
Marialice worked in the oil industry to support her college education and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at Oklahoma A&M in 1951. She married Harry Worden in 1960 and is survived by her son, Steve Worden, his wife Becky and their 4 children: Zach, Ethan, Jared, and Katie.
Marialice worked as an office manager for a CPA and Law Firm: McKee, Schuler, and Bowker for many years. She then retired and volunteered for Christian Ministries such as Bridges for Peace and Loaves and Fishes. She loved the Nation of Israel and supported ministries based in Jerusalem until the time of her death. Marialice was a Christian and attended several churches here in Tulsa including Woodlake Assembly of God for many years.
Marialice loved to travel, go on cruises, and visited Israel twice. She lived in Central and Northeastern Oklahoma with her last residence in Broken Arrow near her family.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 20, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
