Marian Berg Howard was born on January 23, 1929 in Drumright, Oklahoma to Theodore and Pearl Berg.
Upon graduation from high school, she attended the University of Oklahoma where she met her future husband, Gene C. Howard. They moved to Tulsa in 1951 and started their family. She departed this life December 4, 2023 after a brief illness at the age of 94.

Marian worked briefly as a bookkeeper; but left to be a fulltime mom to daughter Jean Howard Schaffer, Sacramento, CA and son Joseph (Bud) Howard of Tulsa, Ok. She is survived by her children and her grandchildren Brittney Ballard (Steve), Brett Peterson, Kristin Brady (Dylan) and Ethan Howard.

She had a wide circle of friends and loved to sew and read. Her passion was her family and she was the "Fun Mom" and loved spoiling her grandchildren and surprising them with little gifts. She was also feisty!

Her four great grandchildren brought much joy to her after years, Avery and Brin Ballard, Reese and Ben Brady filled her with delight.
She will be deeply missed by all of her family.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 10 from 9AM-1PM at Moore's Rosewood Chapel 2570 S. Harvard, Tulsa.

Graveside Service Monday, December 11th at Fairlawn Cemetery, 1123 East 6th Avenue, Stillwater, Ok.
