It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn Elaine Goodman, 79, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, announce her passing in hospital on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. Marilyn was born in Advance, Missouri, on Tuesday, August 22, 1939, to Leon Noble and Lerene (Weissenborn) Noble. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Education from S. E. Missouri State University. She was a sorority member of Kappa Delta Pi and a member of History Club Phi Alpha Theta. Marilyn enjoyed reading, and had a thirst for knowledge, which she tried to instill in the students she taught at Oologah Public Schools. She was a strong Democrat, enjoyed gardening, and her beloved cats. Marilyn also had an adventurous spirit, and enjoyed traveling the world. She was kind and caring, valued her friendships, and was a great mentor. Marilyn is survived by her son, Rick Brunson and husband Rick Broyles of Austin, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry Stoffregen; and sister, Carolyn. Marilyn will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
