Obituary

Marilyn Hall Robison, 90, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2014. She was born September 23rd, 1923, in Sasakaw, Oklahoma to Joel Eugene Hall and Ruth ( Mann) Hall and was raised in Holdenville, Ok. the third of four daughters.

Marilyn was a graduate of Miss Hockaday's School for Girls in Dallas, Texas and received her BA from Mills College in Oakland, California in 1945. That same year she married Lt. Commander Scott I. Robison of Okmulgee who served in World War II as a submarine officer and settled in Tulsa where they raised three boys and attended Boston Avenue Methodist Church. Later, while living in Mississippi, they became Episcopalians and continued to uphold that faith upon their return to Tulsa.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Scott, a well known Tulsa pharmacist and two sisters, Nanette Fredricksen of Evergreen, Colorado and Joellen Rapee of New York City. She is survived by a sister, Patricia Abney of Oklahoma City, three sons, Jeffrey Scott (wife, Elizabeth), Robert Eugene (wife Carol) and David Hall (wife Laura); grandchildren, Russell Scott, Scott Hilliard and Lindsey Rose Robison; step-grandchildren, Christa, Kate and Ryan Pogonyi and Jesse Greenhill , great grandchildren; Alexander Robison and Benjamin Robison; step-great grandchildren, Stella and Mosley Greenhill and Avery Pogonyi; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn loved her family and friends and a great supporter of Trinity Episcopal Church. She enjoyed the arts, ballet, movies, antiquing, reading and playing a little bridge. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Iron Gate, Up with Trees, Hospice or a charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 5th and Cincinnati in Tulsa on May 31st at 1:00 p.m.
