Marion Margaret Vaught Hale Ramsey Corbin passed away peacefully on June 22, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. She was born in Cincinnati, OH, on July 26, 1926 to Mr. & Mrs. Everett Lee "Jack" Vaught and Olive Litton Vaught and adopted by Mr. Earl Hale in 1940 in Dyersburg, TN.
She was a realtor for over 20 years in Tulsa, OK; American Legion auxiliary member/officer in Tulsa, OK and Dunnellon FL; proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution; Kentucky Colonel "Honorable Marion Ramsey Corbin" commissioned by Governor Paul E. Patton from the Commonwealth of Kentucky, June 30, 1998.
She is survived by: daughter, Nancy Ruth Andel and husband, George of Roslyn, SD; son, Jeffrey Allan Ramsey and wife, Jennifer Lee of Tulsa, OK; stepdaughter, Claire Wilder and her husband George of Ocala, Fl.; stepsons, Marvin Corbin and his wife Pamela of Sparr, FL., Terry Corbin and his wife Beth Hoy of Dunnellon, FL.; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and loads of nieces and nephews.
Marion was preceded in death by her husbands, Oran Lee "Bill" Ramsey, July 11, 1986; Laurie O. "Jim" Corbin, October 6, 2007; and oldest son, Martin Hale Ramsey, March 7, 2018; sisters; Hazel Lee Vaught, 1924; Gladiolus Dorothy "Geedee" Vaught Bond, January 20, 2006; mother; Olive Michelle Litton Vaught Hale Sjoberg, March 18, 1992; Father (s): Everett Lee "Jack" Vaught, August 2, 1971; Earl Vernon Hale, 1961.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Viewing will start at 9:00 a.m. the morning of service. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28th at Moore Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 South Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK. Interment: Floral Haven Cemetery, Broken Arrow, OK.
