Marion went home to be with her Lord on August 7, 2022. Marion Mathline Browning Wickersham was born March 30, 1922 in Turley, Oklahoma. She was the beloved wife of James Melvin Wickersham for 55 years who predeceased her in 1995. She is survived by her brother Earl Frederick Browning, her son James Lind Wickersham (his wife Sandy), and her daughter Deena Ellen Glass (her husband Michael). Marion was grandmother to Deena's daughter Amy Stegall and great-grandmother to Emma Stegall, and also grandmother to Lind's daughter, Crystal, and great-grandmother to Charlotte and Rhett Wallstrom. She and Melvin were instrumental in the establishment of New Life Center Assembly of God and she was known as a prayer warrior. She took her children to church at an early age, where they accepted Jesus as their Savior. She consistently taught her children what was right and wrong according to God's Word, through her actions. You wouldn't want to ask her a question if you didn't really want a truthful reply, as she was a truth-teller and often spoke her mind. Her family always knew that they were in her prayers. Marion always put her family first. She was a homemaker, and was secretary and bookkeeper for their company, Turley Electric. She was a member of the Oklahoma Centenarian group and in her earlier years loved sewing and gardening. She was a wonderful caregiver to her beloved husband as he suffered through Alzheimers in his latter years. She will be missed. Her prayers will be missed.

Viewing will be 10am-8pm and visitation 6pm-7pm, Friday, August 12, 2022 and the Funeral Service, 10am, Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home. Interment following at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Tulsa.
