Marjorie Grace Elaine Groves was born July 8, 1934 to Vernon and Stella Grace (Bakke) Miller, Marjorie passed away February 10th, 2020 in Tulsa, OK. She was preceded by her parents, sister; Enid, brother; Merlyn and her loving husband of 47 years, Neil Groves.

Marge spent her childhood in Virginia, Minnesota and graduated from Virginia High School in June of 1952. She had already met the love of her life, Neil and they were married on June 5, 1954. They celebrated the birth of their first daughter, Kathleen in 1955. The young family moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1957 and welcomed the birth of their second daughter, Karen Rochelle. In 1958 their third child and only son, Michael was born. Then 1963 brought the birth of their fourth child and third daughter, Brenda Grace.

The family moved to Tulsa, OK in 1968. Marge worked in various positions in payroll and book keeping. Her first and greatest love however was always her family. She lovingly cared for her husband, Neil and her mother, Grace until they passed five days apart in January of 2002.

Marge has resided in the same home for more than 50 years. She welcomed nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren into her life that she cherished with her whole heart.

She was a kind soul filled with a genuine interest in everyone she met. She had many conversations with strangers in grocery store parking lots and felt she walked away with a new friend. That sweet spirit drew many to her over the years and she considered each friend a precious gift.

There are no words to describe how fiercely she loved us all. She gave of herself completely and taught us how to love our own children. Now those children are teaching theirs about unreserved devotion to those they love.

Her passing leaves a hole in our daily lives but not our hearts. She made sure our lives were so filled with love and precious memories that she will never truly leave us. We love you Momma, Grandma, GiGi.

Marge is survived by her children; Kathy Cox, Karen Guinn (Kenny), Mike Groves and Brenda Thompson (Mike), grandchildren; Joseph Cox (Ashley) Rebecca Cox, Timothy Guinn (Jentri), Christopher Guinn (Jami), Kimberly Guinn, Zachary Guinn (Brooke), Christopher Groves (Cindy), Brandon Groves (Lisa) and Jennifer Grace Thompson, great-grandchildren; Jessen Cox, Makenna Cox, Ethan Cox, Kailey Guinn, Kendall Guinn, and Karlie Guinn, Jacen Guinn, Rilee Guinn, Kaili Groves, Kaci Groves, Kami Groves, Anniston Groves, Gavin Groves and Hazel Grace Thompson.

Viewing is Noon to 8pm, Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel. Family will be present for visitation from 6 to 8pm.
Funeral Service will be 10am, Friday, February 14, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK.
