Marjorie Charlene Hosey passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, May 8, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 94. Charlene was born in Morris, Oklahoma to parents Jake and Anna (Lamons) Admire. She attended and graduated from Morris High School in 1949 as her class valedictorian. Charlene spent her career working for Tulsa Public Schools at Hoover Elementary School, being a secretary to the principal.


Charlene had a love for the Lord and was part of the congregation at Midtown Church of Christ in Tulsa. She also volunteered for the Oklahoma Christians Women`s Association. Charlene was passionate about spending time with her beloved family and friends. She also loved sewing and traveling. Some of her favorite travel memories are taking bus tours across the U.S. and going on cruises to Alaska, Hawaii, and the Caribbean.


Charlene is preceded in death by her husband Jesse W. Hosey, her siblings Eileen Burton, Imogene Lenox, and John Admire. She is survived by her children Lynn Hosey of Tulsa, OK, Brenda (Hosey) Francis (husband Keith) of Beggs, OK, grandchildren Corbin Francis (wife Kristin) of Broken Arrow, OK, Bryce Francis (wife Krissie) of Sand Springs, OK, and great grandchildren Emilia, Cole, Rowen, and Larkin Francis.


A visitation for Charlene will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 6-7:30PM at Moore Southlawn Chapel. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 1:00PM at Moore Southlawn Chapel with a graveside service following at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
