Marjorie (St. Sing) Warren
August 5, 1920 - October 10, 2015
Marjorie (Margie) Warren was the fourth child of Dr. John W. St. Sing and Myrtle St. Sing. She was born August 5, 1920 in Kellyville, only a few years after the Dust Bowl and lived in Oklahoma most of her life. She was adored by her parents and older siblings, Dorothy, Paul, and especially Edna Mae. She earned her High School Diploma from Kellyville HS and went on to get her credential as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked for St. Francis Hospital for many years and retired when she was 65.
Margie was first married to Gilbert Johnson (deceased), then to Clifton Warren. Cliff was the love of her life, and his death in 1987 was extremely sad for her and a loss that remained in her heart forever. Margie did not have children, so she "adopted" Jan Rath, Edna Mae's daughter. Jan thought of Margie as her second mother and best friend and Jan visited her often. Margie had numerous skills and talents, and one that that was especially memorable was her expertise as a seamstress. She made beautiful clothing including coats that were a work of art. Margie's main love was her dogs. Over the years she had cockers (Jet) and poodles and finally fell in love with shitzus. Her sweet shitzu, Levy, (click on photos) was her loving and constant companion and was cared for by Dwayne and Lawana Higgins, Margie's dearest and devoted friends, when Margie could no longer care for him.
Margie had a great love of our Lord and read The Bible many times. Knowing she is at peace with Him gives her family great comfort.
