Markie "Momma" White
Markie Karen White, who loved to be called "Momma" by her kids, departed her loving family on September 4th, 2022.
Markie was born in Fort Worth, Texas on November 20th, 1954, to Rachel and Norman Colvin Sr.
Markie was mother to Roshan, Randolph and Mariah. She raised her children with love and devotion in both Oklahoma and New Mexico.
As a mother, Markie was known for her tenacity, unconditional love and willingness to lend a helping hand anytime it came to her family. Her hobbies included various DIY projects on her properties, fishing, reading the comics from the Sunday paper, and talking your ear off. She was most proud of her family and faith.
Markie was preceded in death by her father Norman Colvin Sr., her mother Rachel Colvin, her sister Norma Conkwright and her brother Norman Colvin Jr. She is survived by her brother Michael Colvin, children, Roshan, Randolph, and Mariah. Her grandchildren Jordan, Janessa, and Adeline. Her nieces and nephews Robert, Kevin, Jennifer, Damien, Damon, Franklin, McKenzie, Avery and Mikala.
Services will be held at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday, September 9th at 10:00am.
