Obituary

Marsha Lynne Parsons, 61, departed this earth November 3, 2018 at Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Marsha was born May 5, 1957 in Louisiana, Missouri to Delbert Parsons and Maggie Pearl Parsons. Marsha is the second of 5 children of Maggie and Delbert.
Marsha spent her summers enjoying fishing with Godmother Lola Watts along with attending family gatherings both in Louisiana, Missouri and with her grandmother Eva June in Springfield, Illinois. She graduated Louisiana High School in 1976. Marsha relocated from Missouri to Tulsa, Oklahoma with her mother and two sisters in 1993. She was employed at McDonalds for several years.
Marsha enjoyed going to movies, gardening, church, shopping, and eating out. She was loved by many in the Tulsa area for her wit, honesty, and joking nature.
Marsha was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joseph and Mary Mitchell Pearl and Everett and Eva June McPike Parsons; one brother, Delbert Parsons, Jr., four aunts, and three uncles, and a close cousin Richard (Ricky) Parsons.
Marsha is survived by her parents, Delbert and Maggie Parsons; three sisters, Debra Parsons of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Wanda Parsons of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Ivy Wilson of O'Fallon, Missouri; two brothers: John Jones of Springfield, Illinois and Keith Mabon of Nebraska; ten nieces and nephews including Brandon Thomas, Justin Thomas, and Jayla Wilson all of O'Fallon, Missouri; three aunts Helen Robinson of Savoy, Illinois, Patricia Joann Reynolds of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Opal Turner of Champaign, Illinois, three uncles: Joseph Thomas Pearl of Bowling Green, Missouri, Richard Pearl of Booneville, Missouri, and Kenneth Pearl of Elsberry, Missouri, five special cousins (Polly Ray of New York, Tanya Robinson Davis, Heather Robinson, Naomi Robinson, and Natalia Robinson) along with a host of cousins and friends.
Services 12 noon, Saturday, November 17th at First Presbyterian Church in Louisiana, Missouri.
