Martha Prator Hall was welcomed into heaven by our Lord and her spiritual family on April 3, 2016. Martha was born in 1925 to Mary and Ned Prator in Emerson, Arkansas and lived there and Magnolia, Arkansas before moving to Ardmor, Oklahoma. She graduated from Ardmore High School and went on to the University of Oklahoma where she met her future husband Donivan and earned a fine arts degree.
Martha was an accomplished artist in many media. Besides rearing a family, she taught at Tulsa Christian Academy and arranged flowers for church and at the TG&Y in Ranch Acres Shopping Center. She loved genealogy and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Magna Carter Dames and other genealogy organizations. Martha also enjoyed travel, going to Britain and Israel with her sister DeMaurice Barber of Ardmore.
Martha and Donivan made their home in Tulsa for 66 years and reared three children. She is survived by her children DeAnn Slinkard and Drayton and Richard Hall, by four grandchildren and their families and by her sister DeMaurice Barber. Martha will be missed by her family, her friends at Calvary Bible Church and at the Broadmoor where she was known as Miss Martha.
