After high school, Martin attended the University of Arkansas and received his bachelor?s Degree in Architecture. He owned his own firm, loved his chosen field.
He was a member of the AIA. Martin was an avid golfer.

Martin married Debra (Tenney) in 2008. Martin is survived by his wife, Debra. Children & spouses: Alison Boland (Sean), St Louis, MO., Andrew Brown, St. Louis, MO., Matt Brown (Erica), Tulsa, OK., 7 grandchildren. Also survived by his parents: Jack & Barbee Brown, Tulsa, OK. Sister: Ann Large (Fred). Preceded in death by his first Wife: Patty Brown.
