Obituary
Marvella Ann Glidden, 87, died on October 21, 2017. She was born on August 25, 1930 to Elmer Schlichting and Florence (Paulsen) Schlichting in Davenport, Iowa.
Raised on her parents' farm, Marvella moved west after graduating from Davenport High School, living in AZ and Torrance, CA before settling in Tulsa.
Marvella served as secretary for Wonder Bread in Tulsa until her retirement in 1995. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and crafts, and was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Ann (Glidden) Apker, and survived by her granddaughter Brooke Apker Knight, grandson-in-law, Paul Knight, and great-grandchildren, Parker and Brady Knight, all of Tulsa.
A funeral is planned for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 23, 2017, at Moore Funeral Homes, Rosewood Chapel.
