Marvin Lee Jones, 69, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019, in Tulsa, OK. He was born on Wednesday, December 28, 1949, in Tulsa, OK, to Edgar Lee Jones and Marveline (Hillis) Jones, and graduated from Edison High School in 1969. Marvin was proud to have served in the United States Navy on the USS Kilauea, and was a truck driver most of his life. He was a big music fan and he especially loved Rock-A-Billy. Marvin is survived by his brother, Glenn Jones and wife, Theta, of Owasso, OK; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Marvin will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
