On November 28, 1992, in Tulsa, Oklahoma God blessed Zelda Wilson-Childs and Eric Pankey with the birth of their only son Marvin Lee "Doodie" Wilson. Marvin attended Tulsa Public Schools and later earned his GED. Doodie was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, and father. Each encounter with Doodie was filled with joy, he always knew how to make you smile or laugh even when you didn't want to.

Doodie was a very caring and loving individual who never met a stranger. He had a warm and inviting spirit and was very charismatic. He had a deep love for people. Enjoyed spending time with family, loved ones, and most of all his children. Doodie had a passion for cooking, especially cooking for his children. His children held a special place in his heart, and he loved and cherished each of them dearly.

Marvin was preceded in death by his sister: Consuela Valencia Mansker; grandmother: Hattie Mae Wilson; grandfather: Wayne Gilliam; great grandmother: Ruthie Mae Pankey; and mother of first born: lesha Wallace.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his companion: Victoria Dale; seven children: Da'karai, Maleah, Mylah, Tyrann, Marvin Jr, Makhi, Madisyn; Mother: Donna Wilson-Childs (Dallas); Father: Eric Pankey (Gina); Sisters: Erica Pankey, Shanita Wilson, and Jahonna Wilson, Danielle Lee; Grandmothers: E. Kay Pankey Green (Ed) and Nita Wilson; a niece, nephew and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20th at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, OK.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 21st at St. Luke's Baptist Church 2607 N. Rockford Ave., Tulsa, OK.
