Mary Jane Cassady was born on July 1, 1954, as a member of the Cherokee tribe in Tulsa, OK. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Alvis "Ab" Keller and Anna Leora Keller and her brothers, Jimmy Wayne "JW" Keller, Jerry Henson, and Lloyd Larson. She was survived by her husband of 21 years, Rick Cassady; her sisters Jeanie Webb and Betty Hickman; her children Rowdy (Carla) Bradford, Heaven (David) Kupiec, Ricky Cassady and Kelly Cassady; her grandchildren Alec, Dylan, Alorah, Jaidyn, Aaliyah, Dalton and Raigon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary loved her Lord and savior and served him as a member of New Life Assembly of God in Collinsville. To know Mary is to know that she loved everyone she met and wanted to help others any way possible. She was able to do that through her Route 66: Ladies of Harley Group and ABATE of Tulsa. In 2013, she and Rick were recognized for their service as ambassadors with Rt 66 H.O.G. Mary was always a thrill-seeker and willing to go on adventures from earning her Associate Degree in Applied Science for Business to making numerous road trips with family and friends.
Mary joined the Army National Guard in Dec of 1988 where she proudly served for 4 years as a Specialist E-4. Among the things she loved to do the most were spending time with her loved ones, riding her Harley, collecting Elvis memorabilia, taking photos, watching TV, and of course cooking.
Mary was called home to be with the Lord on June 14, 2018. Her services will be held at God's Shining Light Church, 9897 E. 11th Street, Tulsa, OK, on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 20 and Thursday, June 21; with a visitation with the family from 6p.m. to 8 p.m. on both days.
