Mary Etta Cearley
passed away Wednesaday, February 19, 2014 in Tulsa at the age of 83. She was born to Ralph & Evelyn Davis of Bristow, OK on September 2, 1930. She is survived by her devoted husband Cleo Cearley her high school sweetheart, whom she wed on October 10, 1947, little sister LuElla Morgan of Duncan, five children: Terry Cearley, Steva Cottingim, Dane Cearley, Cynthia Rogers of Tulsa, and Debbie Cook of Mounds as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary Etta loved to paint, delighting in portraits of her family, treasures to keep for many generations. She was a faithful Christian serving at First Church of the Nazarene. She loved fishing, gardening, and traveling, however her favorite past-time was beating her grandchildren at board games. Mary Etta will be remembered by all of her family as the most committed, loving, and supportive person in the world. She was always there to lend unfailing love and support.
