Mary "Suzanne" Cluff, 70, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014. Suzanne was born to the late Arthur and Katharyn "Sue" Sluyter on February 7, 1943. She was a graduate of Bishop Kelley High School and Tulsa Business School. She married the late Frederick Cluff in 1964 and had one son and two daughters. Her daughter, Sarah Louise Cluff, passed away in 1976 and she is survived by her son, Stephen Cluff, of Manorville, NY and daughter, Pamela Ann Thomason, of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Suzanne has four grandchildren, Ryan Thomason, Piper Cluff, Cameron Cluff and Sarah Cluff. She is also survived by one brother, Gary Sluyter and three sisters, Janet Bordovsky, Betsey Owen, and Christy Thorpe.
Suzanne worked as a bookkeeper throughout her life and most recently retired from Mrs. Dehaven's Flower Shop in Tulsa. Suzanne was active in the Catholic Church, Girl Scouts. She volunteered with the Tulsa City-County Library's Literacy Program, and was a volunteer tutor for the school system. Suzanne had an indomitable and generous spirit. Despite the limitations brought on by rheumatoid arthritis, she lived independently and courageously, always with a cheerful smile.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Moore Funeral Home Rosewood Chapel in Tulsa. Funeral services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa.
