Mary Ethel Garland, 90, of Tulsa, died Thursday, September 3, 2026, in Tulsa, OK. She was born October 29, 1935, in Stigler, OK, a daughter of Calvin Honeycutt and Millie (Ratterree) Honeycutt. She married Jack L. Garland on April 1, 1960.

Mrs. Garland worked in communications at Amerada Hess in downtown Tulsa for over 30 years, working her way up to Communications Director before retiring in 1994 to spend time with Jack and take her grandchildren on summer road trips by motorhome. She was a 50-year member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack L. Garland; a grandson, Adam McCullough; and her seven siblings, as Mary was the last surviving of the eight Honeycutt children.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie McCullough, and granddaughter, Mary Leigh McCullough.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2026, at Moore Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK. Following the service, she will be laid to rest alongside Jack, her husband of 64 years, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
