GOUMAZ, Mary Joe, 96, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. Born June 27, 1920 in Tulsa, OK to Dewey and Lillian (Brown) McDowell.
Mary Joe was a retired secretary from Tulsa Public Schools Adult Education. She was a member of University United Methodist Church and sang in the choir for over 50 years. Member of Eastern Star, Sweet Adelines-Tulsa. She was also a member of the Tulsa Bowler's Association and associate member of the Tulsa Teacher's Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Goumaz, her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Jo Goumaz-Layton and her husband, Jerry of Tulsa, OK.
Viewing will be 10AM-8PM, Monday, March 20, 2017 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
