Mary W. Hamby born December 24,1926, in Gillespie Illinois to Thomas and Mary Lambie went to be with the Lord March 27, 2013 following a courageous twenty year battle with cancer. She was married to John K Hamby on January 24, 1953 and was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Jean Gay and Ellen Forbes, brother Alex Lambie, grandson Matthew Clark, and granddaughter Sarah Jean Clark. Mary was a Registered Nurse and homemaker. She is survived by her husband John, daughter Nancy Clark and husband Ben, daughter Jean Hinton and husband John as well as many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held April 3, 2013 at lOam at Kirk of the Hills. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Kirk of the Hills or Goodland Academy, Hugo, Oklahoma.
