Mary Margaret (Flanigan) Laley, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2022 in Tulsa, OK. Born August 16, 1923 in Waverly, New York to parents Dennis Flanigan and Marie Downs Flanigan at the family dairy farm. After High School she moved to Elmira, New York and worked for a defense contractor as a parts inspector. Later she moved to Rochester, New York where she worked for Taylor Instrument Company. It is there that she met her future husband Joe C. Laley who was there for training.

They were married in Round Rock, Texas and settled in Houston. Eventually ending up in Tulsa where they raised 4 children. After the death of her husband in 1977 she worked for various Hallmark stores in town and retired from Cohlmias' / Binding Stevens at the age of 81 when the business closed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe C. Laley; parents: Dennis and Marie Downs Flanigan; two children: Trinka Ann Laley and Mark Laley, along with her sisters: Jeanne Flanigan of San Antonio, Texas, Rita Hughes of West End, North Carolina; brothers: Robert Flanigan of Elmira, New York, Philip Flanigan of Rochester New York and James Flanigan of Sparks, Nevada.

She is survived by two sons: Gregory Laley and John Laley both of Tulsa; grandchildren: Heather Laley Moore and husband Brock, Rachel Laley and husband Denver, Erica Laley of Tulsa, Sherry Shay of Tulsa, Kenda Laley Stevenson and husband Robby of Bixby, Christopher Laley and Marjorie Makoni of Oklahoma City and Michael Laley and Sabrina Schmidt of Hamburg, Delaware;
and 12 great grandchildren.
