Lisle, Mary Catherine, 98, Homemaker and Parliamentarian, died Christmas Day, December 25, 2014. Born June 27, 1916 near Foss OK to parents Lewis Olin and Evalyn Jackson Barefoot. She attended Hollis, OK schools and graduated from OU in 1939. Catherine married George W. Lisle, October 31, 1942. She taught school at Valley, Nowata, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. She became a Registered Parliamentarian in 1973 and conducted workshops, gave private lessons and taught Parliamentary Law in Tulsa Jr. College for many years. She presided and served as parliamentarian at conventions for many local state and national organizations. She was a member of the American Association of University Women, the National Association of Parliamentarians, Oil Capital Unit of NAP Order of the Eastern Star and founding and charter member of John Knox Presbyterian Church. Survived by daughter, Mary Elizabeth Nulty, son, George Lewis Lisle, granddaughter, Brenda Nulty, grandsons Brett and Chandler Lisle, and great-granddaughters Lauren and Olivia Utley. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, George, a baby daughter, Laurie Louise, and grandson Brian Nulty.
