Mary Leola Molloy, 93, completed her earthly journey and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, December 10, 2014, Tulsa, OK. Mary was born August 16, 1921, to Robert F & Henrietta (Powell) Molloy, Tahlequah, OK.
Mary, a member of the 10th & Rockford church of Christ, shared her Bible knowledge and love for the Lord for many years with young ones in Bible class. She also touched the lives of hundreds of people through her work with the World Bible Study program.
Mary was an amazing woman---way ahead of her time. After high school and business school, Mary began her career with McDonald Douglas during the war years before a long career as an accountant with Bethlehem Steel Corporation, retiring in 1984. Mary loved to fish and graciously shared her bounty around her table with family and friends. She shared her passion for fishing with her nieces and nephews as well as the "greats" and some of those fishing poles are still being used. She was also always ready for a game of dominos, or a card game with anyone willing to deal the cards.
Mary, also known as Aunt T, is survived by her many nieces and nephews who adored her: Judy Barber, Phoenix, Arizona, Kenny Reed & wife Chris, Tahlequah, OK, Sue Ann Coursey & husband Jack, Broken Arrow, OK, Eddie Molloy & wife Sue, Steve Molloy & wife Pat, and Robin Watts & husband Tim, all of Tahlequah, OK, and Donna Little & husband, Bill, Tulsa, OK; 17 great nieces and nephews, 25 great, great nieces and nephews and one great, great, great niece. She will be immensely missed by her family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, older sisters Reba Rickard & Mildred Reed, older brother William Molloy, younger brother R.H. Molloy, and nephews Tom Rickard & Dick Barber.
