Mary L. Munding passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born August 11, 1933, to Leo and Goldie McFadden in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She graduated in 1951 from Tulsa Central High School. Later she attended Tulsa Junior College and received her Associates Degree as a Medical Assistant. She then began teaching in the Medical Assistant Program at TJC. She had a passion and patience for seeing her students succeed in the program. After her retirement from TJC, she continued to be active in the National Medical Assistant organization including serving as the president one year.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Matt Munding Jr. She is survived by her sister, Patricia C. Bear; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Larry Angle; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jeanette Simms; son, John Simms, and step daughters Kay Hicks, Pat Stinson, and Lisa Bull; five grandchildren, Tim Angle and his partner Ross Tidwell, Elizabeth Stafford and her husband Gregory Stafford Sr., James Simms, Stephen Simms, and Ceanna Simms; two great grandchildren, Natalie Stafford and Gregory Stafford Jr. and many nieces and nephews.

Playing Bunco with the same twelve ladies was the highlight of each month for over fifty years. She also had a curiosity for genealogy which took her to many interesting locations.
Her two favorite pastimes were decorating for every holiday, earning her the affectionate name of "Holiday Mary," and cruising around the world.

Service will be at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel at 1:00 P.M., on April 7, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
