Mary Estelle New, 95, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020. She was born on Sunday, October 12, 1924, in Paris, AR, to Eberhard John Schneider and Rose Ann (Klein) Schneider. Estelle was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tulsa, OK, where she was active in the Women's Club. She liked reading, working crossword puzzles, collecting figurines, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan. Estelle was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 58 years, Talmage William New, who passed away April 1, 2004; and seven siblings. She is survived by three sons, Tom New and wife, Brenda of Tulsa, OK, David New and wife, Lauren of Tulsa, OK, and James New and wife, Lonnie of Inola, OK; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, James Schneider and wife, Peggy of Conway, AR; sister, Audrey Lopez; daughter-in-law, Rita New; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a lifetime of friends. Estelle will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us. It was a privilege and great honor to have her in our lives.
