Nichols Mary Ann, "Nannie", 82 of Tulsa passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016. She was born December 10, 1933 in Oklahoma City, OK to John and Otah Buchanan. She was a retired planner and buyer for Memorex/Telex and a member of University United Methodist Church. She enjoyed raising her children, shopping and traveling to Florida and visiting civil war sites along the way. She was also a contestant in the 1951 Miss Oklahoma contest. Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 62 years Steve Nichols; her children, Steve F. Nichols, Jr. and his wife Karen of Richmond, TX; Rebeccah A. McClanahan and her husband Bob of Grove, OK; Chris Nichols and his wife Charlene of Cole Camp, MO; 7 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Kenneth R. Buchanan and S. D. Buchanan and her sister, Norma Lee Dorsey. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
