With family by her side, Mary Frances Noble, 90, of Tulsa, OK, peacefully left this earth on Monday, May 14, 2018 following her brief residence at Clarehouse. Mary, a third generation Okie was born on March 23, 1928, in Tulsa, OK to Bernard and Patricia Stunkard.
She graduated from Central High School in 1945 and attended Oklahoma A&M College in Stillwater, OK where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education. She married Hubert A. Noble on June 5th, 1948. She taught high school English for a few years in Tulsa at Edison High School in the late 60's. She was a busy homemaker who was always organized and able to move homes many times in their working lives. She also spent many memorable summers with her loving family at a summer cabin on a remote island in Ontario, Canada.
Over the years, they lived in various places for Hubert's Petroleum Engineering career, including Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, Illinois, Alaska, England and Trinidad. Once retired, they enjoyed long summer road trips in their Motor Coach and often included the grandchildren in their travels.
Mary was unwavering in her faith and made it very clear that she looked forward to meeting her Lord in heaven. She was an active member of Harvard Avenue Christian Church where she enjoyed Sunday School with her friends. She enjoyed her morning British tea, good conversation, crafting and playing card/board games. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to her family, showering them with endless love, support and encouragement.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert in 1996. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Nancy Pittser and Janis Stauffer, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Memorial Service will be held 10 AM, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Harvard Avenue Christian Church,Tulsa. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Clarehouse, a 501c3, end of life community home.
