Mary Elizabeth Rowe was born March 20, 1945 to Ernest L and Myrtle M Rowe in Walla Walla, Washington. She passed from this life at 1:12 a.m. September 22, 2022 in St Francis Hospital after an extended illness.

Mary graduated from Ramona High School in 1963, now Caney Valley High School. She went on to study for one year at Oklahoma State University.

Mary moved to Ft Lauderdale, Florida in the early 1970's and returned to Tulsa Oklahoma in 2010. She was a Medical Transcriptionist and was the President of the Medical Transcription Association of Ft Lauderdale for several years.

Mary enjoyed growing roses and playing the violin.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, K C and Elsie Rowe; grandparents John and Ruby Clampitt; her father, Ernest L Rowe and her sister and brother-in-law Marie E and J W Gassaway; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her mother, Myrtle Rowe of Tulsa, aunt, Faye Hicks of Owasso; sister, Margaret and husband Vern Landers of Collinsville; niece Leslie and husband Sean Belt of Owasso; nephews Lyle Landers of Collinsville, Stanley Lechner and wife Jane of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Clint Lechner and wife Marti of Crockett, Texas; great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home at 9350 East 51st Street, Monday, September 26, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with services in the Chapel on the grounds of Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.. There will be no graveside services.
